‘Unworried’: leisurely, relaxed.

I try to live as unworried as possible, because when I don’t it will result in an epileptic seizure. My name is Nadine, a 22 year old from the Netherlands with a passion for making lemonade when life throws you lemons. In 2011 I experienced my first seizure caused by PNES. Not knowing what it was and what to call it, many doctor visits resulted in frustration. In the years that followed I have been on a journey to learn as much as possible about PNES. I have visited the PNES conference by the Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group in New York several times and did an internship with them which resulted in my first academic publication.
